Welcome to the Whangarei Community Toy Library!
A Community Ministry of Whangarei Central Baptist Church and the Regent Community Trust
Through play, children develop their physical, mental, perceptual, and social skills. Our aim is to provide on loan the best and appropriate toys, games, and puzzles for children in our community, from birth to approximately the age of ten. The Library is a venue where families can interact in a casual and friendly setting.
Since opening in 1987, the Library has been run on a volunteer basis and has a paid Librarian. We rely on the fees you pay, grants and donations to keep the Toy Library functioning.
Mission Statement
Our Toy Library will serve the community by providing an affordable, excellent opportunity for all families to access new experiences in the world of play and learning. We will welcome family and whanau with an attitude of Christian love understanding for individual family circumstances.
